I had to take Taz to the doctor this morning, for Yet Another Earache. He gets these alot, hence the capitals. However, since he had the tubes put in (which have since come out), most of his earaches have been external, in the outer canal. So, this morning he and I are sitting in the waiting room. He was to be seen by a regular Family Practice physician...his pediatrician was home sick. LOL Well, Taz was being EXTREMELY friendly with everyone. He would ask everyone their name, give his; so much for 'no talking to strangers!' One exhange went like this: Taz-"What's your name?" Lady-"My name is Denise." Taz-"Dad, this is Denise." Oh, great! Now he brings me into it! The doctor's visit was uneventful; the doc prescribed antibiotic eardrops (which, Domynoe later informed me, Taz accidently spilled). But they said he had to have his Hepatitis A vaccine redone; apparently, the lot number of the vaccine he got last was recalled. How the hell do you recall a vaccine that was already injected? Okay, so he got a shot. And he said 'ouch'. Taz is no stranger to needles, so this wan't a big deal to him. That's my boy!
