taz is getting a dog. not quite sure when, but it looks like everything is going to work out - no pet desposit and we get to keep our cat. we still have to do the vet, the shots, and the picture, plus we have to get a doctor's recommendation for the animal. the lady who will be helping us train the dog is willing to take payments, $25/month. so we just have to set aside the funds to actually get the dog, and debra, the trainer, is watching for a dog that fits what we need but isn't going to cost us a fortune.
saxy will be helping with most of the training. i'm allergic and taz isn't of the age to do the training by himself. we've already warned the girls that the dog isn't a play dog but a working dog, although convincing shebop of this may be the real trick. it's going to be an interesting experience, and i hope a good one.
