Loving & living with a special needs child

Today, I participated in a 5 kilometer Autism Walk, sponsored by the Inland Empire Autism Society of America (www.inlandempireasa.org). The walk was a huge success for the IEASA. They were expecting about 200 participants, raising $10,000; instead, they got 300 and $20,000. Wienerschnitzel (whatever happened to the 'Der'?) provided free food. Taz didn't come; today was his respite care day. But I did meet a lot of people with autistic children, and found out a lot more about the disorder my son has. I also found out something else: my feet hurt like hell!
