we've been pretty quiet about taz of late. mostly i'm too busy to post. not sure about anyone else. ;) so some updates...
he's been spending the night at dad's at least once or twice a motnh. we don't seem to have too much trouble with anything except getting to sleep when he gets home. this is cool with me since i can remember the slightest change resulting in huge tantrums and other problems.
his respite care seems to be finally working out. his buddy is woman instead of the man we had hoped for, but she's doing good with him and he's always ready and waiting for her now. they clean his room and then are off to movies, the park, mcdonald's, whatever. he really enjoys his time out wiht her and we have no problems other than spinning when he gets back. i think some of that is his way of dealing with too much stimulation in one day. he does seem to have his limits when it comes to that.
now that his respite care worker is settled in, his irc worker is leaving irc! this will be his 5th or 6th worker in the 4 years he's been with irc. sigh...
