Loving & living with a special needs child

today we took the kids to see lotr, and i am quite impressed with taz's behavior. he got wiggly only once during the entire movie (towards the end), and settled down pretty quickly once saxy came back from the restroom. no bribery needed! :) and he behaved better than at least one other kid there, which is really impressive for hom.
i don't know if we're going to have respite care tomorrow. no one called to say yae or nae. i am really going to have to get on these respite peoples' case - he needs the same person every week (they seem to want to rotate us, and it just doesn't work), and the hours NEVER change. what is so hard to understand about that?
