Loving & living with a special needs child

First off, I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving! I took the kids to my brother's place in Santa Monica. While bro worked on the dinner (ham, not turkey), sis-in-law and I took kids (hers and mine) to the Santa Monica Pier. If you've never been to the Pier, it's a mini amusement park. Taz (I suppose I'd better get with the program and use his Internet name) had fun on the rides; Phoenixcat even took him on the rollercoaster, and he didn't yell or scream once! That's better than me; I HATE roller coasters and ferris wheels! Taz did display some of his inappropriate behavior later; I had him stand in the corner for misbehaving, and he said 'shut up!' and did the ol' finger thing. I told my brother to ignore everything he does. He (my brother) said, "Well, if he does this..." "No. Ignore EVERYTHING." Cat said she's never seen me so assertive before. Must be old age.
