Today I left work early; Domynoe called me and said Kristav was complaining of an earache. I took him to the ER (Urgent Care was closed by this time). Fortunately, he had no infection; just some debris in his ear canal, like dried blood. While coming home, I had to stop and return some videos I had rented earlier. Coming down the street, the train crossing gates came down. It was a big train, at least 10 engines and 80-100 cars. I asked Kristav if he knew what was going on. I think he was a little distracted about something. Then all of a sudden, he said (I kid you not!), "What the hell is going on?" Naturally, I chastised him for his language use, but I still found it very funny at the time.

Well Kristav is starting to ask questions during movies. Last night we watched "Haning Up", and he kept asking what was wrong with the dad, and when the girls were crying towards the end he was asking what was wrong. Domy says that it shows that he is thinking. Which is probably true, but I also think that in some cases he is bored and wants to talk, which is good in some ways, because again it shows he is thinking. I also noticed when I took him to the grocery store the other day, he heard a baby cry and asked what was that. I told him I didn't know, and he said,"It's a baby." Then he asked, "Why is 'She' crying?" I told him I didn't know and he said,"Because 'She' got in trouble." I think he assumes all babies are females.
