we have a normal healthy autistic boy. meaning that whatever test had the geneticist sending us to metabolic specialists, there is nothing for us to worry about. the metabolics team from l.a. (that's right, team...there was one social worker and 3 doctors) basically said there was nothing for them to see him about after looking over all his tests. they have also explained the initial diagnoses of autism that his original doctor gave us. the doctor said kristav is an autistic variant. he explained it as having autistic-like behaviors, but never actually put him in the autistic catagory. these particular doctors have explained that basically kristav falls within the autism spectrum, which is pretty vast and still a big mystery. nothing can definately be said about autism because nothing is clear about autism.
kristav is going through another of his hyper-focused satges. it used to be all we heard about was duck tales. now all we hear about is the x-men on fox kids. he really can run these things into the ground too. he must be seeing this stuff at school because he isn't seeing it here!
