so far the ritalin isn't really doing much good. if anything he is MORE violent, hitting more often and tends to get out of control easier. and there hasn't been any GOOD side effects yet, like improved enunciation. everything else pretty much stands at the same as having no medication. in addition to all this, we may not have his respit care worker again this saturday. tom is awaiting his license and i haven't heard if they managed to get the only other male nurse they have for this weekend. and, once again, they asked for his hours. how many times do i have to tell them the same hours? i hope they don't send a woman, and i hope tom gets his license back soon. i am sure not seeing him last saturday didn't help with his behavior this week. add to that he;s out of school for two weeks and his schedule is all mucked up. no wonder we're having problems with his behavior.
