today my son turned 8. they apparently celebrated in the standard style at school, with sugar. i do believe i indicated that sweets were not acceptible, but i will have to go look at his i.e.p. and check. he is now kinda cranky. we have to find a way to stabilize things soon. as long as he is going through changes, he's going to be more irritable. if we can find the right medication, that may help, but no guarentees there either. knowing how i live, this may take awhile...one good thing about chwis: he added a sense of routine. and now that will be gone.

he's up there rambling away..LOUDLY. too many changes for the poor kid, although he still doesn't ask about chwis. monday he has an appointment with the doctor again. hopefully the next medication won't have the same side effects. the kid needs to eat and if she wants him to be an insomniac then i vote he sleeps at her place. :P
